VASSANTHA L SAMIRR is an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the National University of Singapore. She also has a graduate diploma in Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and has volunteered her services to the Association of Women for Action and Research and at the Dover Hospice.

In her role as a lawyer, she brings her own unique flavour of legal expertise and counselling experience which is a much needed asset in legal practice.

Vassantha has clocked up more than 26 years of experience in legal practice and her clients range from individuals to blue chip companies. She is also on the panel of advisors to financial institutions and acts on their behalf in mortgage, redemption and refinancing transactions.

Vassantha’s legal career over the last 26 years spans both private practice in various firms where she dealt with matters involving conveyancing, probate insurance claims, shipping, family law and contractual disputes as well as at the Housing & Development Board where she served as a Legal Officer in the Resale Transactions Department.

A natural and gifted communicator, her wide and varied legal experience and knowledge coupled with her counselling training and communication skills enables her to connect easily with a vast and varied range of clients from different backgrounds, to quickly understand their needs, identify risks and issues that they may encounter from a spectrum of angles and provide effective, goal oriented advice and solutions to ensure best possible outcomes for the client.

Vassantha is also especially skilled in office organisation and management and is a natural team leader. As the head of the HDB department at Subra TT Law LLC for the last 14 years, her strong and firm leadership has helped to train, hone and nurture a team of like-minded support executives who, like her, are ready to respond, support and assist clients with all their concerns and needs.
