DHAMIRAH RASHID is in the prime of her career with STTL, having made great inroads into the hearts of our clients as well as the inhouse team ever since she joined the firm. Dhamirah has an incredible ability to zero in on the crux of an issue and landing on solutions just as accurate. 

She is a legal associate with the Real Estate Practice and focuses on acting in sales and purchases on behalf of individuals and corporations/companies, financing and refinancing, redemption and Central Provident Fund Board (CPF) matters.

Her experience covers transactions that involve a selection of properties ranging from condominiums, landed properties, commercial units, HDB commercial units, office spaces, industrial properties and JTC factories/commercial units. She has successfully handled transactions with multiple stakeholders for complex retail and commercial matters for various types of real estate. She takes pride in drafting, reviewing and negotiation key contracts and documents pertaining to the real estate matter. She also provides wealth management and estate planning to clients. 

She sets herself apart by ensuring clients are given sound advice before transacting a real estate matter once their divorce cases are settled, making sure all parties are satisfied with their share of the asset. Her clients also receive good planning before embarking on their next step in purchasing a property once their divorce cases have ended.   

Key Matters include:

  • Acted in purchase and sale of $50 million (collective) private shop houses within conservative site
  • Acted in purchase and sale of various JTC factories / HDB commercial units 
  • Acted in decoupling transactions

Her general practice previously focused on: 

  • Providing ad hoc legal support for lead counsel in conduct of en bloc process, divorce proceedings, mitigation proceedings, contract disputes and trademark applications.
  • Reviewing terms in contracts, prepared legal research for advice to clients and use in civil trials.
  • Provided legal advice on PDPA matters for client’s trademark applications and start up of businesses.

Key Matters include:

  • Second Lead in Donny Anak Meluda’s case, accused of murder – reduced to manslaughter and 33 years imprisonment 
  • Second Lead in CMC and Mediation case of $10 million construction dispute
