THANUJA THIAGARAJAH began her legal career in 1998 after being called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1994 and to the Singapore Bar in 1997 with a focus in building and construction dispute resolution. She has acted as lead counsel in several disputes pertaining to construction and contractual matters both in the state courts and the high court, worthy of being reported in the Singapore law journal. Thanuja has also litigated earnestly on behalf of several public listed companies resulting in court decisions being awarded in their favour.

In addition, Thanuja’s legal experience extends beyond building and construction disputes into handling complex company insolvency matters and crafting creative solutions with practical use for these companies

Thanuja is especially passionate about adoption and child welfare matters and has dedicated a vast number of years during her professional journey in handling a variety of adoption matters, both foreign and local; contested and uncontested.

As a real estate and conveyancing lawyer since 2002, Thanuja’s expertise and experience spans not just working on retail conveyancing and corporate real estate matters, but also acting for housing developers.
